Gaiman, McFarlane Close The (Comic) Book On ‘Spawn’ Row

Law360, New York (January 30, 2012, 6:46 PM EST) -- Author Neil Gaiman and comic book artist Todd McFarlane on Friday agreed to settle their nearly two decadeslong dispute over whether Gaiman deserves a share of the profits from three characters in McFarlane's "Spawn" comic book series.

Gaiman and Marvels and Miracles LLC, along with McFarlane, Todd McFarlane Productions Inc., TMP International Inc., McFarlane Worldwide Inc. and Image Comics Inc., said they have resolved their fight and have entered into a fully executed settlement agreement, according their joint motion.
