Territory Managers Hit Quest With Wage Class Action

Law360, New York (February 1, 2012, 12:42 PM EST) -- Two territory managers lodged a proposed class action in Florida on Monday alleging lab operator AmeriPath Inc. and its parent company Quest Diagnostics Inc. broke promises of commission and bonus pay and failed to pay employees for overtime work.

In a complaint filed in Florida federal court, named plaintiffs Brenda Cherepy Shores and Robert Gilland Jr. claim the two outpatient lab service chains refused to pay certain forms of compensation promised to employees working at their Florida locations.
