EU Proposes Deregulation Of Radio Spectrum

Law360, New York (July 25, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- As part of an ongoing effort to create a single market for telecommunications services, the European Commission has proposed a plan that will lift restrictions on use of the radio spectrum for wireless services.

The proposal, issued on Wednesday, aims to “make it easier and more lucrative for mobile operators in Europe to offer and develop new wireless technologies.”
