GAO Scraps Protests Over $73M Medicare Auditing Contract

Law360, New York (February 3, 2012, 7:27 PM EST) -- A Blue Cross Blue Shield subsidiary adequately addressed possible organizational conflicts of interests that threatened to impact its $73.5 million Medicare auditing contract, according to a U.S. Government Accountability Office decision published Thursday that dismissed protests by two rival contractors.
