Toyota Again Loses Bid To Time Bar Acceleration Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (February 3, 2012, 7:50 PM EST) -- A California state judge on Friday nixed another bid by Toyota Motor Corp. to toss a product liability suit over unintended acceleration in Toyota vehicles as time-barred, rejecting the carmaker’s argument that the plaintiffs were on notice of potential defects before a highly-publicized 2009 accident.
