Suit Claims Theft Of Medical Software Trade Secrets

Law360, New York (July 26, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A database management company which licensed software for medical claims submissions to HealthFusion Inc. has sued the medical technology provider for allegedly developing a rival computer program based on its trade secrets.

Agdata LP filed the suit on Tuesday in a California federal court, claiming that HealthFusion Inc. breached a licensing deal to use Agdata's Rapid Claims software by developing a copycat version of the program with a similar graphical user interface.
