Facebook To Further Lift Curtain On User Data Storage: Group

Law360, New York (February 7, 2012, 4:57 PM EST) -- Facebook Inc. has agreed to release more information regarding its storage of user data, a European watchdog group said Tuesday after a meeting related to Ireland's probe into the company's privacy practices.

Two members of the group Europe v. Facebook met with Facebook's director of public policy for Europe, Richard Allan, and another company official for six hours on Monday in Vienna. The group was represented by Max Schrems, 24, and another University of Vienna student.
