Delta, Others Settle Rate Hike Row With Kinder Morgan

Law360, New York (February 10, 2012, 6:27 PM EST) -- Four major airlines on Thursday agreed to settle a dispute over pipeline rate hikes with Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP, a week after the carriers rejected a deal and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission recommended the parties move to an administrative hearing.

Kinder Morgan was set for a hearing with US Airways Inc., Continental Airlines Inc., Southwest Airlines Co. and Delta Air Lines Inc., but the carriers came around and agreed in principle to a settlement this week, according to a FERC administrative ruling.
