Lewis Brisbois Ducks Claim In IT Co.'s Malpractice Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (February 10, 2012, 4:42 PM EST) -- Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP on Friday dodged a fraud claim in a malpractice suit alleging the firm assigned an inexperienced attorney to a trade secrets case and cost information technology company FusionStorm millions of dollars in excess legal fees.

California Superior Court Judge Maureen Duffy-Lewis nixed the fraud claim leveled against the firm, ruling that the allegation wasn't pled with enough specificity.
