LG Wants Docs From Dell In Patent Case

Law360 (July 30, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- LG Electronics Inc. has asked a district court judge in Texas to force Dell Inc. to comply with a subpoena for documents and testimony issued in a pending patent case against several electronics companies involving memory and processors for personal computers.

The dispute relates to a patent case LG filed in 2001 against a slew of electronics companies, including Quanta in the Northern District of California. Quanta, an manufacturer of electronic hardware, sold parts to Dell that are involved in the patent dispute.
