Motorola, RF Micro Accused Of Flouting Circuit Patents

Law360, New York (February 15, 2012, 9:04 PM EST) -- Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. on Tuesday lodged complaints with the U.S. International Trade Commission and in California federal court alleging RF Micro Devices Inc. and Motorola Mobility Inc. infringed patents covering silicon-on-insulator circuit technology.

According to a statement by Peregrine, the company launched suits claiming RF products and Motorola smartphones infringed on patents related to using silicon in radio frequency integrated circuits and switching technology.
