No Deal In 'Desperate Housewives' Star's Firing Dispute

Law360, Los Angeles (February 15, 2012, 6:39 PM EST) -- Former "Desperate Housewives" star Nicollette Sheridan and series creator Marc Cherry told a California state judge Wednesday that they have been unable to resolve their dispute over the actress' firing, setting the stage for a celebrity trial later this month.

The parties have yet to agree on a settlement that would do away with Sheridan's wrongful termination suit against Cherry and Touchstone Television Productions LLC, California Superior Court Judge Elizabeth Allen White said following a hearing.

Attorneys for both sides declined to comment Wednesday.
