Former Commerce Official Jumps To Mayer Brown

Law360, Los Angeles (February 23, 2012, 3:35 PM EST) -- Former Deputy Secretary of Commerce John J. Sullivan has left Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP to join up with Mayer Brown LLP as a partner in its Washington office, the firm announced Wednesday.

The move marked the return of a deeply experienced international trade expert who left Mayer Brown in 2004 to serve in the U.S. Department of Defense and later the Department of Commerce before returning to private practice in 2009.
