Peterson Buys Stake In Stalled $320M Md. Center

Law360, New York (February 22, 2012, 7:27 PM EST) -- Developer The Peterson Cos. has bought into a $320 million project in Bethesda, Md., that has been stalled for a decade and proposes more than 1 million square feet of residential, office, hotel and retail space, the company announced Wednesday.

Partnering with DRI Development Services LLC, which took over the beleaguered Rock Spring Centre project in 2008, Peterson Cos. said it has agreed to be the lead developer for 300,000 square feet of retail and entertainment space. Financial details of the deal were not immediately disclosed....
