Google Enlists Ex-House Rep. To Lead Policy Push

Law360, New York (February 23, 2012, 7:19 PM EST) -- Google Inc. announced Thursday it had hired former congresswoman and Bracewell & Giuliani LLP principal Susan Molinari to head its North and South American policy team, a move that comes amid increased scrutiny from Washington over the company's privacy practices.

Molinari is joining the search engine giant as vice president of public policy and government relations for the Americas. She is expected to start in the position in mid-March, Google spokeswoman Samantha Smith said.
