Kinder Morgan Socked With Suit Over Calif. Oil Leaks

Law360, New York (February 24, 2012, 8:08 PM EST) -- Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP has failed to clean up polluted waters near three California petroleum storage facilities, an environmental group said in a lawsuit filed Wednesday in California federal court.

Northern California River Watch said in its complaint that the Kinder Morgan facilities had leaked petroleum products, including gasoline, jet fuel and diesel fuel, into the San Francisco Bay, Walnut Creek and Selby Pond since the 1980s.
