Motorola Row Forces Apple To Nix Push Service In Germany

Law360, Los Angeles (February 24, 2012, 7:08 PM EST) -- Apple Inc. said Friday that it has suspended certain push notification features on mobile devices sold in Germany following a ruling against Apple in its ongoing patent dispute with Motorola Mobility Inc.

German iPhone and iPad users will not be able to receive push notifications — which automatically notify users when they receive new messages — for Apple's MobileMe and iCloud service, the company said on its German website.
