Why Leegin Is A Good Thing For Consumers

Law360 (August 1, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The Supreme Court’s recent decision in Leegin Creative Leather Products Inc. v. PSKS Inc. is not only a clear victory for consumers but also offers clarity about antitrust law for businesses.

The Court held that a manufacturer no longer automatically violates the antitrust laws if it has an agreement with its retailers as to the minimum resale prices to be charged for the manufacturer’s products.
