Alliant Receives No Fine For Emailing Rival's Clients

Law360, New York (February 27, 2012, 4:54 PM EST) -- Alliant Insurance Services Inc. dodged sanctions over its emails to prospective clients in Aon Corp.'s trade secrets and contract suit after a New York state judge found Aon’s broad interpretation of an injunction order was wrong, according to a decision released Friday. 

Judge Bernard J. Fried denied Aon’s motion for injunctive relief Feb. 17.
