European Mobile Giants Agree To App Privacy Standards

By Greg Ryan (February 27, 2012, 7:20 PM EST) -- Europe's largest mobile operators and a U.K.-based industry group unveiled voluntary app privacy guidelines Monday, days after the largest U.S.-based app platform providers agreed to legally enforceable privacy standards.

Harris that Apple Inc., Google Inc., Amazon.com Inc. and three other major U.S.-based platform providers had agreed to an app privacy agreement.
