CIT OKs Zeroing In Review Of Korean Steel Duties

Law360, New York (February 28, 2012, 5:06 PM EST) -- The U.S. Court of International Trade on Monday upheld the U.S. Department of Commerce's continued use of zeroing in administrative reviews of anti-dumping duties, rejecting a challenge brought by two South Korean steel companies.

Dongbu Steel Co. Ltd. and Union Steel Manufacturing Co. Ltd. filed suit in April challenging the results of an administrative review of duties on corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from Korea, which used zeroing to calculate dumping margins.
