PE Firms Pour $100M Into Russian Cell Tower Co.

Law360, New York (February 29, 2012, 5:40 PM EST) -- Russian telecommunications company Russian Towers LLC has landed $100 million in private equity investments from Macquarie Renaissance Infrastructure Fund, ADM Capital and others to expand its cellular tower portfolio, investor UFG Private Equity said Wednesday.

Founded in 2009, Russian Towers operates 300 cellphone towers in Russia and leases space on each tower to mobile phone operators in Russia.
