Plaintiffs Back $15M Bid For Attorneys In FedEx Case

Law360, New York (August 2, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A group of plaintiffs that secured a settlement for about $55 million in a race discrimination suit against FedEx Express has petitioned a federal court to sign off on its attorneys’ fees and costs for a total of $15 million.

The plaintiffs in the class action asked the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Thursday to grant final approval of more than $12.4 million in attorneys’ fees and nearly $2.6 million for out-of-pocket expenses.
