Indicted Atty Says Gov't Lied To Keep Seized Docs Secret

Law360, New York (March 5, 2012, 4:41 PM EST) -- Marc Rosenthal of Rosenthal & Watson PC, indicted last summer in relation to a scheme to bribe a Texas state judge, claimed Friday that prosecutors acted improperly by lying to obtain, and conceal their possession of, the firm's hard drive.

Rosenthal is asking the court for an evidentiary hearing to determine the full extent of the government’s allegedly improper conduct and appropriate remedies, as well as a court order vacating earlier orders that allowed the government to hide the seizure from the firm under allegedly false...
