DOD's Final Business Systems Rule — Still Problematic?

Law360, New York (March 12, 2012, 1:17 PM EDT) -- On Feb. 24, 2012, the U.S. Department of Defense issued its long-awaited final rule to govern contractor business systems.[1] The final rule, which took effect immediately, is the fourth version of the business systems rule that the DOD has published within the past 26 months, following an initial Jan. 10, 2010, proposed rule, a Dec. 3, 2010, revised proposed rule, and a May 18, 2011, interim rule with a request for comments.[2]
