Ralph Lauren Loses Attys' Fees Bid After Perfume IP Win

Law360, New York (March 6, 2012, 3:26 PM EST) -- A New York federal judge on Monday refused Ralph Lauren Corp.'s request for attorneys' fees from the U.S. Polo Association for selling fragrances with logos that infringe the perfume maker's “Polo” trademarks.

U.S. District Judge Robert W. Sweet denied the motion by PRL USA Holdings Inc. and cosmetics maker and exclusive Ralph Lauren licensee L'Oreal USA Inc., which sought attorneys' fees after the court granted an injunction for the companies last year.
