Chinese Furniture Co. Says US Rivals Abuse Dumping Reviews

Law360, New York (March 7, 2012, 6:11 PM EST) -- A Chinese furniture company on Tuesday asked the U.S. Department of Commerce to reject a petition made by certain American furniture companies for an administrative review of anti-dumping duties, claiming that the U.S. companies are abusing the review process.

Zhong Shan Fullwin Furniture Co.  Ltd. made the request in a letter to Commerce, alleging that several American furniture companies have a been making a habit of requesting the reviews in order to extract settlements from Chinese companies in exchange for dropping the reviews, the letter said....
