Ranch Says Meat Co. Monopolizes Prime Cut Of Beef Market

Law360, New York (March 7, 2012, 6:45 PM EST) -- A meatpacker that sells cows used in the production of high-grade beef was sued Tuesday in Texas federal court by a cattle rancher that says the beef seller has established a monopoly for its products by enforcing contractual provisions that foreclose competition in the industry.
