REIT Strikes Out In Bid To Block $450M Boston Complex

Law360, New York (March 7, 2012, 4:18 PM EST) -- A Massachusetts real estate trust on Monday lost its bid to halt the $450 million Fenway Center project, a 1.3 million-square-foot retail, office and residential complex planned for downtown Boston that the trust said would infringe neighbors' property rights.

Massachusetts Land Court Judge Harry M. Grossman denied HRPT Medical Buildings Realty Trust's motion for summary judgment in a lawsuit accusing Boston, its zoning commission and the project developer of making an unfair zoning change that paved the way for construction of public roadways on HRPT's property....
