Texas Co. Says It Was Stiffed On $14M Power Plant Contract

Law360, New York (March 7, 2012, 8:43 PM EST) -- General Turbine Systems of Texas Inc. sued two energy companies and several banks including Citibank NA in Texas state court Wednesday, claiming it was paid only $3 million on a $13.8 million contract to help construct a power plant in Bangladesh.

General Turbine says it entered into a contract with Bangladesh-based defendants Energy Prima Ltd. and Desh Energy Ltd. to assist in the construction of a power plant in Bangladesh for $13.8 million in August 2008.
