Judge Transfers Detroit Bridge Project To Mich. DOT

Law360, New York (March 9, 2012, 5:29 PM EST) -- A Michigan judge on Thursday ordered the company in charge of the U.S. portion of Detroit's Ambassador Bridge to surrender control of the project to the state Department of Transportation and to pay $16 million in a long-standing dispute that sent the bridge's billionaire owner and president to jail.
