News Excerpts In Web Forum Are Fair Use, Judge Rules

Law360, New York (March 12, 2012, 7:21 PM EDT) -- A Nevada federal judge ruled Friday that posting a short excerpt of a news article on an online forum constitutes fair use, closing the book on a copyright case originally filed by Righthaven LLC against the website Democratic Underground.
