Chevron, GCM Make Peace In Gas Station Cleanup Row

Law360, Chicago (March 13, 2012, 2:44 PM EDT) -- GCM Air Group LLC called a truce Monday in its environmental cleanup suit against Chevron USA Inc., striking a settlement deal to end the case over contamination at a former Chevron gas station site near Lake Tahoe that GCM now owns.

U.S. District Judge Robert C. Jones signed off on GCM and Chevron's stipulated dismissal with prejudice in Nevada federal court, closing the case and leaving each party to bear its own costs and attorneys' fees. The dismissal order did not specify any other terms of...
