Chesapeake, Partners To Build $900M Ohio Gas Complex

Law360, New York (March 14, 2012, 1:26 PM EDT) -- Natural gas producer Chesapeake Energy Corp. has launched another midstream partnership — its second in three weeks — to build a $900 million processing complex in the eastern Ohio Utica region, the company said Monday.

The nation's second-biggest gas driller will team up with pipeline builder M3 Midstream LLC and EV Energy Partners LP, a Houston-based oil and gas company, to build a gathering system, a rail hub, and plants to process the gas and separate out valuable natural gas liquids.
