Ex-Morgan Stanley Worker Launches $6M Bias Suit

Law360, New York (March 14, 2012, 10:36 PM EDT) -- A Pakistani native hit Morgan Stanley & Co. with a suit Tuesday in New York requesting at least $6 million for his claims that the firm refused to promote him because of his race and Muslim faith and fired him after he complained of the discrimination.

Saad Ahmed, who worked at Morgan Stanley for five years before his termination Sept. 9, 2010, said he was routinely passed over for promotions in favor of employees of Chinese backgrounds.
