Texas Appeals Court Clears Energy Co.'s Public Utility Buy

Law360, New York (March 15, 2012, 5:02 PM EDT) -- A Texas appeals court on Thursday upheld a decision that Texas Energy Future Holdings Partnership's acquisition of an electric utility was in the public interest and that the Texas Public Utility Commission was not wrong to limit its authority to enforce only business commitments affecting public utilities.
