U.K. Broadcast Merger Comes Under Scrutiny

Law360, New York (August 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The merger of two broadcast transmission companies in the U.K. has caught the attention of the Office of Fair Trading, which has referred the case to competition authorities on the grounds that the deal may restrict competition in the industry.
