Yahoo Hires Commerce Adviser As Liaison To Hill Dems

Law360, New York (March 16, 2012, 7:03 PM EDT) -- Yahoo Inc. has hired a current U.S. Department of Commerce official to oversee its government relations with Democrats on a variety of issues, including privacy and patent concerns, the company announced Thursday.

April Boyd, the current assistant secretary of commerce for legislative and intergovernmental affairs, will become Yahoo's senior director of federal government affairs on April 9, according to the company.
