Chemical Co. B&B Resolves Calif. CERCLA Suit For $2M

Law360, Chicago (March 20, 2012, 2:59 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Friday ordered defunct company Brown & Bryant Inc. to shell out nearly $2 million in environmental cleanup costs to the California Department of Toxic Substances Control, resolving the last apparent claims in litigation that had also ensnared Dow Chemical Co. and BNSF Railway Co.
