$40M Rothstein Adversary Case Stays In Bankruptcy Court

Law360, New York (March 16, 2012, 10:01 PM EDT) -- A $40 million adversary suit brought by Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler PA's Chapter 11 trustee alleging hedge fund managers capitalized on Scott Rothstein's $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme will stay in Florida bankruptcy court for pretrial proceedings, a federal judge said Friday.

The suit — which names Regent Capital Partners LLC, Murray and Laura Huberfeld, Bodner Family Foundations, David and Naomi Bodner, Mark Nordlicht and Dahlia Kalter, and SFS Capital Funding LLC — seeks to recover fraudulent transfers they allegedly received from RRA, through which Rothstein admitted running...
