Facebook Hit With Antitrust Suit Over Advertising Program

Law360, New York (March 19, 2012, 8:31 PM EDT) -- Online advertising display company Sambreel Holdings LLC hit Facebook Inc. with an antitrust suit Monday, claiming the social networking giant threatened advertisers to keep them from doing business with Sambreel.

California-based Sambreel says it offers products that allow users to customize their Facebook pages by adding designs that appear on their web browsers when they visit Facebook. Their most popular product, PageRage, competes with Facebook in the sale of advertising impressions, according to the complaint.
