Ex-Refco CEO, Others Dodge Court For Now

Law360 (August 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- After years of waiting for their day in court, Refco's former chief executive Phillip Bennett and two others will have to cool their heels for a little while longer now that the group's securities fraud trial has been postponed until early next year.

On Thursday, U.S. prosecutors confirmed that the trial for Bennett, chief financial officer Robert Trosten and former Refco president Tone Grant had been pushed back until March of 2008, a change from the original fall 2007 start date.
