Auditor Wins Partial Judgment In $279M NASA Contract Suit

Law360, New York (March 21, 2012, 8:35 PM EDT) -- A federal judge on Tuesday said NASA improperly tried to limit its contract payment to an auditing firm which is suing the agency for $279 million in a breach of contract lawsuit.

NASA contracted Horn & Associates Inc. in 2004 to look at its books and determine whether the agency had overpaid for various services over a 10-year period. After Horn began work, NASA began to dispute what exactly it had contracted the firm to do.
