Some Claims Dismissed In Carbon Price-Fixing Suit

Law360 (August 10, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A federal judge on Thursday struck down the claims of a group of plaintiffs that last year opted out of the settlement of an antitrust class action against makers of electrical carbon products.

Judge Jerome B. Simandle of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey granted in part a motion to dismiss the complaint lodged by defendants Le Carbone Lorraine SA and its affiliates.
