GCs Predict Increase In Chemical, Biotech Mass Torts

Law360, New York (March 23, 2012, 7:58 PM EDT) -- Demand for technologically savvy class action attorneys will be high in coming years thanks to an expected increase in chemical exposure mass tort and biotech mass tort litigation, according to a new survey of in-house counsel.

Class actions stemming from negligence and accidental exposure to chemicals or personal injury from drug use are on the upswing, according to Wellesley, Mass.-based BTI Consulting Group's report, the 2012 BTI Strategic Review and Outlook for the U.S. Legal Services Industry.
