Roche Gets New Look On Timeliness Of Accutane Case

Law360, New York (March 23, 2012, 8:17 PM EDT) -- A New Jersey appeals court on Friday ordered a re-examination of issues key to Hoffmann-La Roche Inc.'s previously rejected arguments that the product liability claims of three Accutane users who say the acne drug gave them inflammatory bowel disease aren't timely.

Remanding the matter, the Appellate Division of New Jersey Superior Court told an Atlantic County trial court to review issues involving the equitable tolling of the statute of limitations in the dispute in light of the state Supreme Court's decision in February in another Accutane...
