Waste Cos. Tangle Over Energy Conversion Patents

Law360 (August 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Quantum Catalytics Inc. and Texas Syngas Inc. have launched an infringement suit against three rival waste service companies for allegedly violating 10 patents related to converting waste into energy.

Quantum and Texas Syngas filed the suit on Friday in a Texas federal court against Ze-gen Inc., its President William “Bill” Davis, Burns & Roe Inc. and New Bedford Waste Services LLC for “pirating the patented technology” through its products.
