FedEx Workers Ask For Clock To Be Stopped

Law360, New York (August 13, 2007, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Attorneys have asked that the statute of limitations be suspended in a lawsuit that was recently consolidated into the multidistrict litigation against FedEx Ground Package System Inc.

The case, which was filed by Troy Givens, was consolidated into the litigation proceeding last month.

The motion, which was filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, argued that a judge should allow equitable tolling of the statute of limitations because attorneys cannot notify possible class members until class certification is ruled on....
