Electricite De France Unit Buys 150-MW Wind Project

Law360, New York (March 26, 2012, 7:07 PM EDT) -- EnXco Inc., an Electricite de France SA affiliate, has closed a deal to purchase a 150-megawatt Texas wind farm from renewable energy company Element Power US LLC, the buyer said Monday.

The parties didn't disclose financial details of the transaction.

EnXco, the U.S. division of EDF's renewables unit EDF Energies Nouvelles, said it intended to deploy 150 megawatts worth of General Electric wind turbines at the 14,000-acre Bobcat Bluff Wind Project site, located about 20 miles south of Wichita Falls, Texas. It said it planned to...
