Petrobras Demands $185M In Faulty Marine Chain Suit

Law360, New York (March 27, 2012, 1:15 PM EDT) -- Petrobras America Inc. is seeking at least $185 million from a Spanish marine-chain manufacturer for damage to its oil production system in the Gulf of Mexico allegedly caused by a defective chain link, in a suit lodged Friday in Texas federal court.
